Why learn healthy cooking

Eating healthy foods can be very appetizing! The goal of these classes is to show you that you can create recipes that incorporate healthy ingredients, and are surprisingly delicious!

Most of the healthy food to which you might be accustomed is likely prepared in ways that aren’t suited to your tastebuds. Limp salads, bland steamed vegetables, the list goes on. But there’s no reason to subject you and your family to disgusting meals when you can learn to create delicious meals using the same ingredients. All it requires is the knowledge of how to use those ingredients in the right way.

Dr. Jessica Fleagle Bender is a lifestyle and internal physician trained by numerous, prestigious universites and academic institutions. In addition to her storied academic history, she also graduated from the CHEF training course at Harvard in 2019, where she trained with Rami Malek. The CHEF in this course in an acronym standing for Culinary Health Education Fundamentals, and the course is designed to give physicians everything they need to know to train their patients in nutrition, cooking, and dietary health.
